We have 6 members of staff in this building who maintain a ratio of 1:4 for 2 to 3 year old’s and a ratio of 1:8 for 3 to 5 year old’s. The main office and staff room can be found on the 4th floor.
We also run a care home initiative with Osborne Court Care Home in Bedminster. Since 2016 our preschool children have created a partnership with our local residential care home, and visit the care home every fortnight to spend time with the elderly residents. It has been such a success that BBC Points West and the One Show ran a story on us, please see the points west clip below, as well as our feature on The One Show. Since our partnership went public Channel 4 produced the show ‘old peoples home for 4 year olds’ here in Bristol and we are pleased to discover more nurseries are rolling out these partnerships across the country, and we are privileged to have supported some of these setting by sharing our journey.
